Sridevi Srinivas, Artistic Director of Sri Art Academy, is a distinguished artist trained under Kalaimamani Smt. Krishnakumari Narendran. A Doordarshan recognized State‑level performer and recipient of the Tamil Nadu Iyal Isai Nataka Mandram’s Talent Promotion Award, she has presented her work at major venues including the Chidambaram and Perur Natyanjali festivals, Madurai and Pollachi Tamil Sangams, and the World Poets Conference. Along with experience in acting in films such as Purandaradasar, she has also collaborated extensively with violin maestro Padma Shri Kunnakudi Vaidhyianathan and performed lead roles in numerous dance productions. Connoisseurs of art celebrate her for the precision of her karanas and the emotive depth of her bhavas, she also champions dancer wellness, presenting on injury prevention at Penn Medicine. Beyond dance, she practices realism painting and continues to mentor the next generation of Bharatanatyam artists.
