Gomathy Nayagam is a highly experienced artist with a rich musical background of 35 years and has been a dance vocalist spanning over 20 years. Throughout his illustrious journey, he has had the privilege of lending his melodious voice to several renowned artists including Alarmel Valli, Priyadarshini Govind, Meenakshi Chittaranjan, Jayanthi Subramanian, Lakshmi Viswanathan, and Rajeswari Sainath. Gomati's talent has taken him to various foreign countries, where he has captivated audiences with his soul-stirring performances. In recognition of his exceptional contributions to the field, Gomati Nayagam has been bestowed with numerous prestigious awards. These include the Sangeeta Ratna, Natya Sangeeta Ka-laa Bhaa-rati, Gaana Kalaa Nipuna, Kural Isai Thilakam.

Sakthivel is one of South India’s finest percussionists. Mr. Sakthivel has been playing the mridangam, specializing in the accompaniment of classical dance for 34 years. He learned the art form by traditional Guru kulavasam under great Guru Shri Mayavaram G. Somasundaram Pillai. He later learned under Guru Shri Bakthavatchalam. He had his special mridangam training for Bharathanatiyam under Guru Shri M.Balachander. He has provided percussion accompaniment to the world’s most established Bharatanatyam dancers, to name a few, Dr.Vyjayanthimaala Bali, Smt. Alarmel Valli, Smt. Chitra vishveshwaran, and Smt. Priyadarshini Govindh.He has received various titles including Laya Vidh-ya-dhara, Natya Sangeetha Ka-laa Bhaa-rathi, Laya Ka-laa Vipanchee, Laya Ka-laa Ratna, Laya Siron(sirin)-mani, and Mridanga Maamani. Mr. Sakthivel has had the privilege to perform at leading festivals and theaters around the world, as well as at many of India’s most prestigious performing arts festivals.

Papanasam Dr. S. Sethuraman is a well-known Ganjira Artiste who has been performing the art for more than 38 years.

Born in the year 1969 to Sangeetha Vidwan Sri P. Subramanian at Papanasam in the district of Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu, Sethuraman showed keen interest for percussion music from a very young age and started learning Mruthangam initially from Mruthanga Vidwan Thuthukudi Rajagopal (Aramba Guru). It was at the instance of renowned Ganjira Maestro Kalaimamani Late Mayavaram G. Somasundaram Pillai (Aadhara Guru), he started playing Ganjira completely.

Sethuraman learnt the art of playing Ganjira devotedly from his guru for over a decade as Gurukula tradition and his dedication and Guru Bhakti made him one of the successful performers in the classical music field.

MEMORABLE PERFORMANCES

Papanasam Dr. S. Sethuraman accompanied Violin Virtuoso Dr. L. Subramaniam in a music show held in Bangalore, India, as part of the Miss World contest. He also had the opportunity to perform with world renowned Guitarist John Mclaughlin and renowned drummer Drillo Kruth at

the Reunion in the year 1992.

Sigamani is a skilled violinist and has received his training from his father, Alandhur S. Natarajan. With a career spanning 38 years, he has been accompanying Bharatanatyam performances with his violin expertise. Sigamani has had the privilege of participating in prestigious venues both in India and abroad, showcasing his musical talent.

 Recognizing his exceptional contributions to the field of music, Sigamani has been honored with various accolades. He was conferred with the prestigious Naadha Ka-laa Vipanchee award by the renowned Dr. Balamuralikrishna, acknowledging his mastery of violin. Additionally, he has received the Natya Sangeetha Kalaa Bhaa-rati award from Bharat Ka-laa-char, further highlighting his dedication to the art form. Sigamani's remarkable skills have also been acknowledged with the Best Violinist award from Narada Gaana Sa-bha, cementing his reputation as a virtuosic(vir-chu-aa-sic) violinist.

Sunilkumar, a talented musician, is a graduate of Govt. Music College in Chennai. He received his training under the esteemed guidance of flute Vidwan "Kalaimamani Shri. T. S. Sankaran. In addition to his solo endeavors, Sunilkumar has had the privilege of accompanying and continues to accompany numerous renowned artists from India. His musical collaborations have taken him on journeys within India and abroad, further enhancing his experience and reputation as a skilled flautist.
